paper thin..................
finally got a mandolin......officially became a life changing kitchen tool.............
these however...completely unnecessary but needed them for some reason....little Japanese food picks or something with animals on them!
Zero at the vet again......waiting for her steroid shot to combat major itchiness.....good thing she isn't competing in the Olympics......
she gets so many complements on her harness...except everyone always thinks she's a boy.....she's just not a pink kind of dog.......

walk ins welcome..........................
Momo and Koto have been wanting me to do their nails on Wednesdays - since they see mine with the flower decals and whatnot. But I wouldn't dare use regular nailpolish on them - after doing some research, I ordered these last week and they just came today!
Hopscotch watercolor nailpolishes..........totally kid safe and odor free....complete with a soy nailpolish remover.....even came with a glittery topcoat..........
cute names like Peter,Peter Pumpkin Eater and You Are my Sunshine..........
and the color coverage is pretty good too..........
can't wait til Wednesday........

awn and awn................
had a very relaxing yet productive 3 day weekend.....
finally caught up on some magazine reading!
went on some long walks............
picked some mini red peppers from the garden.....
and Phil and I put up all the posts for the awning on his deck......he stained them and I sewed the awning together...20 feet of fabric was a workout...hoping to have it up by next weekend......

leave it to Target to make the cutest plastic berry baskets..........
and I finally found the best pantry jars from Crate and Barrel....they have acacia wood lids! Phil thought I was nuts just staring at them and arranging..........

toy boat...............
some new 12" solar lanterns I got at Lowe's the other day......I was pleasantly suprised to see that they give off a warm light instead of the cool blue type....
love this Japanese line of nailpolish called Pa......an array of mermaidy seafoams.......
playing around with a bunch of different ombre glitter effects while Zero watches me patiently........
color theory...........
a palette of neon chartreuse seedums............they look yellow in the photo though.....
work in process on my flourescent shopping cart.....still need a couple more coats.....
can't wait for the three day weekend coming up!!

experimenting with some ombre dyeing....a white voile bathrobe I got at It's a Wrap for $8 seemed the perfect canvas.....and just the right kind of hot day for hanging out to dry......
still organizing the desk in my studio......Martha Stewart makes the perfect file folders......

super hot lately....a good time for some more spray painting......
two cans of neon pink for this cute little shopping cart we found....
I'm gonna use this in my studio...maybe store magazines in the two baskets and have some succulents in the top tray......

coulda warned a brotha..........
Yesterday my Bro and his friend Mo came over and we took them on a tour of WB......they happen to be two of the biggest Young Justice fans and now that production has wrapped and the big season two secret has already aired (a 5 year time jump) Phil was finally able to show them his office.....tons of "spoiler" artwork has been hanging everywhere for months............
On the way to Phil's department, through The Brave and the Bold offices, hallways are lined with Alex Toth artwork, and cool vintage photos of Iwao Takamoto and Hanna Barbera....
the wall of fan art compiled by the YJ crew.......yes, they do look at all the fan art....and cosplay photos too...........the door behind my Bro (with the Star Trek symbol on it) belongs to the office of the awesome Dusty Abell and Jerome K. Moore................

celebrity sighting! he was just taking a smoke break in the hallway and was nice enough to pose with my Bro...............
it was fun seeing my Bro and Mo geek out over all the production artwork, cool toy displays, and the huge wall that everyone at the studio has drawn on - they died over Joaquim Dos Santos' Panthro and Bruce Timms Harley Quinn......we had a good time showing them around - of course we included the Bewitched House and Friends Fountain tour....had lunch afterward at Mo's in Toluca Lake - tried to see if we could get a discount since we were with someone named Mo! didn't work.......then made a Toys R' Us run and headed home............
